Schwennicke (ed.) Europaische Stammtafeln, iii, 710-712, Faris's Plantagenet Ancestry pp. 238, 149, and 219. Both of these sources show Henry de Percy marrying Eleanor Neville.
"John Threadgold m Margaret Brown"
There may have been two children by this marriage - Ellen (b
1744) and Richard (b 1746), but these two could have been
children of John (jnr) who also was married in 1744. See note
under children of John and Ann (Leighbarrow) Threadgold.
"John Threadgold of Cawood m Ann Leighbarrow of Acaster in this
parish"
Ellen & Richard may not have been issue of John & Ann, but of
John (snr) & Margaret (nee Brown). If Richard was the son of
John (jnr), his actual first name could have been Robert, as a
Robert who would have been born about ca 1745 was married at
Holme-upon-Spalding-Moor in 1766 and who had many descendants,
the majority of whom lived in the East Riding of Yorkshire, the
Isle of Axhoilme, and the USA.
