Shows steam packet paddle wheeler which plied from Gainsborough to Hull calling at Trent Side ports. Even if drawn for publication, it could have been drawn at least two years early. Reflects rapid developement of steam transport. First passenger railway, Stockton to Darlington opened in 1825.Good view of church. Shows how how inportant water transport was for the Isle until the railways were built.
