  Notes	I don't believe Edmund's parentage is right. If he was a son, then he could have inherited the earldom, annulment apart. Further the DNB said there were only daughters to this marriage. But Faris says he was bastardised by the annulment of his parents' marriage. (Jan 2002) So does CP. So his parentage is right. The latest report is that his daughters were Philippe and Elizabeth and dvp Katherine - and not an Alice. In 1382 there was a claim that Richard, Earl of Arundel had disseised the three daughter, or thier heirs, of a tenement in Singleton, Sussex (Year books of Richard II: 6 Richard II, 1382-1383, pp. 66-69, pub 1996). ??? Gules a lion rampant or, with a difference???
