G W Watson in The genealogist N.S. Vol XXVIII of October 1911 writes:
Urian de St. Piere, of peckforton, Horsley, etc. Co Chester. who d. shortly before 25 feb 1294/5, left a widow, Margaret, who, as it appears from various writs on the Close Rolls concerning her dower, m., less that 6 months afterwards, Ralph Basset.
...
The person whom she remarried was really Ralph Basset of Sapcote, Knight of the shire for Stafford in the parliaments of 28 and 29 Edw I.:-
Hac est finalis concordia facta in Curia domini Regis apud Ebor' a die sancte Trinitatis in quindecim dies Anno Regni Regnis Edward filij Regis Henrici vicesimo sexto Coram, etc. Inter Radulphum Basset de Sapecote et margaretam uxorem eius petentes at Galfridum de Pycheford at Aliciam uxorem eius tenentes de tercia parte Manerji de Drayton' cum pertinenciis quam clamant in dotem ipsius Margarete et dotacione Vriane de sancto Petro primi viri sui etc. (Petrum Finium, Sussex, case 235, file 36, no 32).
