The Washington Window, Selby Abbey, Selby, North Yorkshire, England
The 14th century Washington Window, was based on a Washingtom family member coat of arms, a white shield with three stars gules (red) and two bars (stripes) gules (red) is believed to be the model used by George Washington's seamstress Betsy Ros to model the United States Stars and Stripes Banner.
