Notes: When The Epworth Bells owner Foster Barnes started his newspaper in 1873, one of the first things he did was to log all gravestones and mounds which they knew of the contents and these were put in the Epworth Bells, a few each week until they had all been done, I believe this was 1872/3, as can be seen there are very few gravestones on that picture, all the stone ones perished but marble ones are still there, it used to be covered in MI's.
