2267 | William and Elizabeth Kelsey (née Bird) Diamond Wedding 1927 I got this photo from my mother's large store of mementos when she died in 2007. William and Elizabeth Kelsey are my great grandparents on the maternal side, and John James Kelsey (died 1946) left a will which caused so much trouble to Robert Tong of Epworth that he handed it over to be administered by the Public Trustee !! I wondered if by publicising this photo any memories are awoken .... a bit of a long shot, but one gets nowhere without trying. William and Elizabeth are buried together with several other family members fairly close to the Church in Haxey, and J.J. is buried beyond the wall in the adjacent area with his second wife .... his first wife also resides there in splendid isolation !! The photo was taken at their house on Commonside, which was next to the Methodist Chapel (the one that is now a garage). My Mother said that the house was demolished quite a long time ago. Thanks a lot John Farnsworth | ||
